Gail Lynn Armstrong Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Armstrong has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the field of writing

OAKLAND, MD, December 10, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Gail Lynn Armstrong with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Armstrong celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Encouraged to pursue her writing career by her late husband, Ms. Armstrong has written approximately 300 poems during her lifetime, many of which have since been published. She has also contributed over 300 essays to various publications. Moreover, Ms. Armstrong is currently penning an autobiography.

In support of her life's work, Ms. Armstrong has devoted a substantial amount of time to conducting research. Eager to share what she has learned about life through her poetry and essays, some of her most notable pieces have included heartfelt prayers and essays that are meant to help others on their own journey to self-discovery. Expressing her innermost feelings on an array of subjects has been extremely rewarding to her. As a seasoned writer, Ms. Armstrong opines that those new to the field commit to writing in a journal on a daily basis. This simple task helps beginning writers to continually develop their skills and become more confident.

A civic-minded citizen, Ms. Armstrong served her country in the mid-1970s as a tractor trailer driver in the U.S. Army. It was during this time that she met her soon-to-be husband of 40 years. Among her other noteworthy civic commitments, Ms. Armstrong has enjoyed teaching calligraphy and volunteering in other capacities at her local library, as well as donating her time and money to her local church.

Ms. Armstrong studied at Garrett College, a community college in western Maryland, where she received an Associate of Arts in 1992. To support her creative pursuits, she has been aligned as a member of the Garrett County Literacy Society. Outside of her vocational pursuits, Ms. Armstrong is the proud mother of three children.
