Assisting clients and fiduciaries with various matters pertaining to wills, trusts, and estates, Mr. Dariotis works diligently to tailor services to their specific needs.
Mr. Dariotis began his legal career in 1973 as a law clerk for the presiding judge of the Appellate Court of Illinois for the Second District. In 1975 he was hired as an associate for a local Tallahassee firm and has worked in private practice since 1975. Mr. Dariotis was also a partner at two other firms before establishing Dariotis Law in 2000.
Apart from his legal commitments, Mr. Dariotis flourished as an adjunct professor at Florida State University from 1987 to 1993. He was also active on the alumni council at the University of Florida and a member of the Florida Probate Rules Committee. To remain active in developments in his field, Mr. Dariotis is a member and the past president of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council, which is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
Mr. Dariotis initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Saint Joseph's College in 1969 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Loyola University in 1973. Years later, he returned to academia at the age of 55, and obtained a Master of Laws in taxation at the University of Florida in 2003. Board certified in wills, trusts and estate law, Mr. Dariotis has been admitted to practice in Illinois, Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Recognized for his hard work and dedication, Mr. Dariotis was honored in Super Lawyers in 2006, 2018, 2019 and 2020 and accepted an Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award from Legal Services of North Florida Inc. in 2006. He has also been celebrated with an AV-Rating by Martindale-Hubbell since 2004.
