Prior to his present position, Mr. Manoukian obtained a Master of Arts from an academic institution in Armenia and a certification in production from York College of New York. Since establishing his television network in 1996, he has been active as its president as well as a producer, director and actor for multiple projects. Ardzagang TV currently provides news, interviews, entertainment and educational shows along with previously distributed films to viewers in the New York Metropolitan Area and Rhode Island as well as audiences around the globe through digital platforms including Youtube and website www.ardzagangtv.com.
As a testament to his exemplary efforts, Mr. Manoukian has been presented with the "Surb Sahak-Surb Mesrop" Gold Medal from His Holiness Garegin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Mesrob Mashdotz Medal from His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, the Gold Medal from the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Letters of Proclamation from Senator Chuck Schumer and Former Senator Hillary Clinton, to name a few. Furthermore, Mr. Manoukian previously interviewed former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Al Gore, accomplishments he considers among his most notable achievements. He attributes his success to his determination and his respect for the Armenian people. Mr. Manoukian plans to bridge the cultural gap between Americans and Armenians by expanding the influence of Ardzagang TV, both domestically and internationally, in the near future.
Mr. Ara Manoukian is married to Mrs. Marina Madosyan Manoukian and they have 2 children – David A. Manoukian and Alec A. Manoukian.
