FLORISSANT, MO, December 23, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Phyllis (Queen) Daugherty has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
An experienced executive director with a proven track record of success in the nonprofit industry, Ms. Daugherty excels as the executive director of the Center of Hope & Peace, with which she has excelled for the last 30 years. Throughout her career, she has served clients by obtaining food, shelter and other resources while assisting mothers that are in need. After the killing of Michael Brown, she witnessed all of the looting and rioting and went to talk to people. Seeing that someone cared, the rioting stopped, which inspired Ms. Daugherty to continue giving back to her community.
Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Daugherty is especially proud of meeting the needs of the people and making others feel just as important as the next person. Additionally, she was presented with a Resolution from Jefferson City Capital. Looking toward the future, Ms. Daugherty intends to experience the continued success of her career and eventually relocate the Center of Hope & Peace into a larger building.
