A distinguished leader in her field, Ms. Bankhead has excelled as the owner of Candace Bankhead Modeling School for five decades since 1970. Prior to her current endeavor, she worked as a model for six years. Well-regarded in her industry, Ms. Bankhead attributes her success to her passion for her work, as well as her dedication to helping others who wish to pursue a career in modeling.

After attending a modeling school and gaining valuable experience and expertise, Ms. Bankhead decided to open a school with which she could teach others what she had been taught early in life. Additionally, Ms. Bankhead is skilled in fashion illustration.

Beyond her primary ventures, Ms. Bankhead maintains affiliation with such organizations as the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the United Daughters of America and the United Daughters of the Confederacy in South Carolina. Still active in her field, she had served as a judge for the Miss California World Pageant. In recognition of her early achievements, Ms. Bankhead was named Student of the Month by her modeling school.
