Though Timmy worked successfully as a youth and collegiate soccer coach for many years, he later tore his Achilles' tendon and sought out a different line of work. His brother-in-law introduced him to the mortgage industry in Vancouver, Washington, and encouraged Timmy to make the change. During the early years of his career, he gained valuable expertise in executive sales, management and consulting positions with Excel Communications LLC, Millennium Funding Group, Wells Fargo, MetLife Home Loans and HomeStreet Bank between 1996 and 2014.
Backed by more than two decades of expertise, Mr. Ostrom excels today as branch manager and loan officer with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, where he specializes in working with first-time homebuyers, is a Military Mortgage Specialist and is the Preferred Lender for some of the best builders in Clark County, WA. As head of his branch since 2014, he oversees nine loan officers and assists families in buying or refinancing their homes. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of being recognized as the Best Mortgage Lender in Clark County, Washington in 2020.
Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Mr. Ostrom earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from Lambuth University in 1996. Outside of his work, he affiliates himself with the Police Activities League (PAL) and the American Warrior Initiative.
For his outstanding work in the field, Mr. Ostrom has been recognized as Best of Vancouver for Mortgage Lending, Best in Business in Vancouver, Wa, and Top Mortgage Professionals in Portland, OR over the past decade.
