Edward M. Wenger has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Mr. Wenger celebrates professional excellence in law



    TALLAHASSEE, FL, January 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Edward M. Wenger has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected based on current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all considered during the selection process.

With more than a decade of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Wenger has excelled as an appellate and constitutional litigation shareholder with Hopping, Green & Sams, P.A. in Tallahassee since 2020. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Wenger served as the Chief Deputy Solicitor General for the Florida Office of the Attorney General. Previously he served as the General Counsel for the West Virginia Office of the Attorney General from 2016 to 2017 and as a law clerk for the Honorable Karen LeCraft Henderson of the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit from 2014 to 2016. Early in his career, Mr. Wenger found success as a litigation associate at Jones Day in Washington, D.C. from 2010 to 2014 and as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward C. Prado of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in San Antonio, Texas from 2009 to 2010.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Wenger pursued an education at the College of Health and Urban Affairs at Florida International University in Miami, FL, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and a Master of Science in criminal justice in 2004 and 2006, respectively. During his years at FIU, Mr. Wenger was a two-time captain of FIU's football team. Following these accomplishments, he graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt Law School in 2009. Mr. Wenger is licensed to practice law in Florida, West Virginia, New York, and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Wenger was selected for a John Marshall fellowship from the Claremont Institute in 2017 and a James Wilson fellowship from the James Wilson Institute on Natural Rights and the American Founding in 2016. Selected as a Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers' Rising Star in Appellate Law from 2013 to 2014, Mr. Wenger attributes his success to his hard work and the relationships he has made over the years.
