Due to his considerable expertise, he also parlays his knowledge to students at Albert Einstein Medical College. Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Hoffman earned a Doctor of Medicine from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 1965. From there, he pursued additional training at Albert Einstein Medical College and completed a fellowship in special surgery through the Hospital for Special Surgery in 1968. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the American College of Rheumatology, Alpha Omega Alpha and the American Osteopathic Association, among other organizations.
