He recalls why his nomination to join Marquis Who's Who was such an incredible experience as it was one of those truly "full-circle" moments in his life.

"Early in 1980, as an 11 year old kid growing up in very humble conditions in South Africa, my Grandfather, noticing my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to make a meaningful and positive impact on the world, suggested I studied how others, often from similarly humble backgrounds, before me achieved their goals.

He gave me a few autobiographies and biographies he had in his library but unbeknown to me, also ordered me a copy of the Marquis Who's Who in America that he was hoping would arrive in time for my 11th birthday on May 31st, 1980.

It arrived too late for my birthday but I was still super excited and very proud to receive the two volumes of the 40th Edition 1978-1979 when it arrived early August 1980.

I remember fondly reading all the bios of many incredible people it featured.

40 years later, almost to the day, I received the email congratulating me on my inclusion on the Marquis Who's Who list."
