Previously Dr. Sugintas served in a national executive leadership role as Vice President of Business Development, Healthcare Vertical-GPOs for Aramark. Dr. Sugintas held national responsibility for all aspects of business development, sales, marketing, and operations of the National Accounts Department, with full P&L responsibility for the entire aggregated healthcare provider GPO segment, including HealthTrust, Premier, Intalere, Novation, MedAssets, and Vizient. Under her leadership, organic growth increased by over 400%, and a new GPO contract acquisition was secured, representing one of the largest healthcare GPOs in the nation representing $19 billion in new spend.

In her role as Vice-President of Healthcare Partnerships for HealthGrades, Dr. Sugintas drove market, revenue, and profit expansion for comprehensive strategic consultative engagements including business development strategies with hospital providers to increase market share, revenue and profitability, and build brand based on quality. Dr. Sugintas provided consultative services to C level hospital executives to identify clinical quality assessment and improvement opportunities and benchmark performance against national trends in the cardiovascular, vascular, neurosciences, and orthopedics service lines. She delivered unprecedented revenue growth and profitability in a nonexistent market, and secured over 300 hospital advisory contract engagements during her tenure. Dr. Sugintas was instrumental in growing HealthGrades from concept to proven business model, as confirmed by the sale of HealthGrades to Vestar Capital Partners for $294M in 2010.

As Director of National Accounts for Isolyser Healthcare, she built strategic partnerships with Hospital Group Purchasing Organizations and Integrated HealthCare Delivery Networks at the C suite level, negotiating and closing long term contracts with Premier, Amerinet, Novation, Tenet, Consorta, and MAGNET. She developed and launched numerous joint marketing implementation programs and successfully led cross-functional teams with the aforementioned organizations. Dr. Sugintas also directed all aspects of a clinical and cost effectiveness study of new technology in conjunction with University HealthSystem Consortium, a national GPO alliance of 87 academic hospitals.

As Vice-President, National Accounts for Criticare Systems, a medical capital equipment manufacturer, Dr. Sugintas built and led the company's first National Accounts Division, developed corporate wide strategic business plans and partnerships for penetrating the GPO/IDN sectors, and drove strategic planning, business development, contracting and management of the entire aggregated healthcare provider sector. In this capacity, Dr. Sugintas maintained direct relationships with senior executives at GPOs, IDNs, multi-hospital corporations, capital technology assessment organizations, and the federal government. In 1996, she was accredited and certified by Price Waterhouse LLP in Washington, DC for Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contracting under the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Program and Government Services Administration (GSA).

Earlier in her career, Dr. Sugintas held key leadership positions in business development, sales management, and corporate training for leading global healthcare companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Pfizer, BOC Ohmeda, and GE Healthcare, with extensive experience in the medical capital equipment, medical surgical, and healthcare information technologies sectors.

Dr. Nora Sugintas was selected by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England as International Woman of the Year for three consecutive years 1994, 1995, and 1996.

Dr. Sugintas earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences with Honors and Highest Distinction from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and was awarded the coveted University of Illinois Louis Pasteur Award for Academic Excellence and Independent Research in 1974. She is author of "Some Factors Affecting the Production of S-Adenosylmethioinine in Candidia utilis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae." She has been inducted into the most notable honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

Dr. Sugintas also earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois, and has completed MBA coursework at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
