Although his father worked as an art director at a studio in Los Angeles, Mr. Marshall was forbidden to become involved in the movie industry. Instead, he decided to pursue a career in sales before eventually owning the company for which he had served. Drawing upon his considerable professional expertise, Mr. Marshall currently excels as the president of Headwaters Construction Inc., which specializes in commercial building, general contracting, planning and consulting services in California, Washington and Oregon.
As the head of Headwaters Construction, Mr. Marshall manages the business and operational aspects of the aforementioned company. Though his career has been filled with highlights, he is incredibly proud of the fact that Headwaters Construction has built millions of square feet of buildings in which businesses are still operating to this day. Recently, they completed a warehouse TI for Walmart Inc. and have constructed more than 50 restaurants for Little Caesars. In light of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Marshall was presented with an award for a project office park by the Fairfield, CA Historical Society in 2010.
In conjunction with his work in construction, Mr. Marshall contributes to those less fortunate as the chairman of the board for the Sacramento chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He is additionally affiliated with Sol Aureus College Preparatory Charter School, the Sacramento Rotary Club, the Sutter Club and the North Ridge Country Club. Within the coming years, Mr. Marshall intends to retire while remaining active in the field in a consulting position.
