Growing up in his grandmother's kitchen, he developed a passion for cooking and an intuitive approach to flavor that continues to inform every dish that he creates. Notably, Mr. Morozin is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
Under Mr. Morozin's leadership, Verbena BYOB opened amidst a record-breaking snowstorm on Valentine's Day in 2018, and quickly developed a reputation for its thoughtful tasting menus and warm, intimate dining space. Striving to highlight local ingredients, he build partnerships with suppliers wherever possible. Driven by a desire to make every part of the dining experience as intentional and harmonious as possible, Mr. Morozin is honored to make people happy for a living.
