Dr. Codispoti is a family nurse practitioner at Chapmanville Primary Care Clinic, where he specializes in family healthcare.Throughout the course of his daily responsibilities, he manages patient healthcare and general administrative duties. While his career has been suffused with highlights, Dr. Codispoti is most proud to have wielded a positive influence in his local community, particularly via his work serving disadvantaged populations.
Dr. Codispoti was initially inspired to pursue a career in nursing by his grandmother, Eloise Gilmore, who was a first-generation college graduate and a registered nurse. Driven to pursue a formal education, he received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Mountain State University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University. As a qualified professional, Dr. Codispoti is certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse in the state of West Virginia. He began his career as a family nurse practitioner with Lincoln Primary Care for six years.
Outside of work, Dr. Codispoti volunteers with the Christmas in the Park program at Chief Logan State Park, and with the Hillcrest Church Youth Group. He maintains his professional affiliation with the West Virginia Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. Dr. Codispoti has attributed his professional success to his propensity for working hard and remaining dedicated to the importance of his work. In the coming years, he plans to open another clinic in his community.
