ONTARIO, CA, February 16, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Christian R. Kueng, EdD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Kueng celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Kueng spent his career as a teacher and administrator in the California public school system for over three decades. His tenure encompassed teaching and serving in various academic positions for the Ontario and Montclair School District, notably as an assistant principal and elementary principal. He was also aligned with the Hemet Unified School District as the director of curriculum and assessment. Further, he enjoyed three years with Educational Services in the Anaheim City School as an assistant superintendent between 2008 and 2011. Transitioning into higher education, Dr. Kueng then experienced another 12 years in the classroom as an adjunct professor at Brandman University in Irvine, California, before fully retiring in 2019. Apart from his full-time commitments, he lent his expertise as a pre-intern program consultant for the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing in Ontario, Canada, between 1998 and 1999.

Always passionate about exploring his creative side, Dr. Kueng would often visit area schools where he would lecture and host workshops for teachers and students for fourth through eighth grade. Early on, while pursuing his bachelor's degree, he worked as a freelance artist to earn extra income. His goals at that time included developing and syndicating his own comic strip, but he quickly realized that he would have to supplement his income by becoming a teacher.

The author of two children's books, Dr. Kueng released a fantasy fiction novel, titled "Three Genie Brothers," in 2012. It is the story of three 10 year old triplets who live in an amethyst bottle. He later published "Caleb's Adventures with Granddad" in 2020, a picture book that takes readers on several adventures with a young boy and his grandfather.

For 21 years, Dr. Kueng volunteered his time and expertise as a member of the Ontario Museum of History and Art's board of trustees during 1999. The museum offers various exhibits on art and history, as well as workshops and other events.

Born and raised in Ontario, California, Dr. Kueng first studied design and visual studies at Chaffey College, where he received an Associate of Arts in 1977. He soon after completed a Bachelor of Arts in fine and studio arts at California State University in 1980, a Master of Arts in education at Azusa Pacific University in 1982, and a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership at the University of LaVerne in 2003. Dr. Kueng is also a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature. He is certified in professional administrative services, multiple subject teaching, pupil personnel services and single subject teaching, and is GATE and CLAD certified.

Active with the Association of California School Administrators in support of his teaching career, Dr. Kueng is also a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Recognized for his accomplishments, Dr. Kueng received an Honorary Service Award from the Parent Teacher Association in 1998, a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition in 2006, numerous American Art Awards since 2010, and the Bryce Denton Award from the Ontario Museum of History and Art in 2016. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Kueng has been cited in the 59th and 60th editions of Who's Who in America and the seventh edition of Who's Who in American Education.
