Upon graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts in 1972, Ms. Lebolo embarked on a decades-long career in education, serving as a technology teacher for the Lincoln County School District #1 for more than 15 years. Although she initially intended to teach elementary school students in general education, she had an innate knowledge and fondness for technology. Therefore, she was selected by the principal of the school to specialize in the subject.
Throughout her career, Ms. Lebolo experienced many career highlights. However, she is most proud of helping students realize that they could achieve things they never thought possible, including learning keys by muscle memory rather than the "hunting and pecking" method. Additionally, she is able to keep in touch with several of her former students, many of whom have thanked her for her guidance. In light of her professional body of work, she was awarded in Cambridge Who's Who in 2001.
Outside of her classroom, Ms. Lebolo has also devoted herself to her students through school functions and served as an active member of her community, working as a volunteer with the Oyster Ridge Music Festival and as a board member with KCDC. Looking toward the future, Ms. Lebolo intends to enjoy her retirement and continue giving back to her local community.
