Dr. Chambers owns a successful dental practice in Fultondale, Alabama. Opening its doors in 2018, Chambers Family Dentistry is a general practice clinic that offers an array of services to patients. Born and raised in nearby Birmingham, it is with great pleasure that Dr. Chambers serves the community she knows and loves so well. Prior to establishing her practice nearly three years ago, she excelled as a general dentist for ACIPCO Health Services for more than two decades, where she primarily cared for personnel. Additionally, she earned distinction as an associate dentist for Roosevelt Dental Clinic between 1991 and 1994.
Believing in the importance of contributing to her local community, Dr. Chambers often provides pro bono services to veterans, children and adults through the church. While coming of age, she did not have access to quality dentistry, which provided the impetus to make a positive change in the field. Aspiring to open at least two additional facilities in the coming years, Dr. Chambers is optimistic about the future of Chambers Family Dentistry.
Aligned with the Dental Lifeline Network, a national nonprofit organization, Dr. Chambers volunteers on a regular basis. The organization notably provides access to dental care and education to those in need. Apart from her professional contributions, Dr. Chambers has been involved as a Harriman Park youth director at First Baptist Church.
Studying at Talladega College, Dr. Chambers earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 1986. Continuing her schooling, she was subsequently accepted to the University of Alabama, where she earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 1990. To remain aware of developments in the field, Dr. Chambers is a member of the Alabama Dental Association, the Birmingham Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Alabama Dental Society.
Dr. Chambers notably received a scholarship at both Talladega College and the University of Alabama. Recognized as the first female and African American medical provider at ACIPCO, she has also received acknowledgment as a Top Women to Watch by Birmingham Business Journal and as a Medical Professional of the Year in 2020. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Chambers has been cited in the 23rd edition of Who's Who in the South and Southwest.
