MINEOLA, NY, March 11, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Muftah Ahmed has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

While enrolled in a technical school in New York, Dr. Ahmed excelled in mathematics and science related courses. Because he enjoyed working with his hands, he initially wanted to pursue engineering as his career.. However, in order to make an immediate impact on the world, he decided to help people during his lifetime and eventually became involved in computer programming, biomedical engineering, and ultimately osteopathic medicine. Dr. Ahmed has notably obtained a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Boston University, a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from Columbia University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ahmed completed his family medicine residency as chief resident at Saint John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY where he devoted his time to caring for the underserved.

Today, Dr. Ahmed serves as medical director for the Arthritis Knee Pain Centers. He has attributed his professional success to a true passion for the work he conducts, coupled with a valuable technical background. Civically, he has contributed to those in need by volunteering with medical missions. In the coming years, Dr. Ahmed would like to practice medicine while developing methods to combine the medicine and technology in order to allow medical institutions to operate more efficiently and promote better global health practices.
