Mr. Rachubinski is a funeral director and the president of Rachubinski & Rogers Funeral Homes. He assumed the reins after his father, Frank, retired. Having shared a close relationship with his father, which was more akin to brotherhood, Mr. Rachubinski remained open minded about opportunities available in the funeral industry, despite having previously trained for restaurant management.
Under Mr. Rachubinski's guidance, Rachubinski & Rogers Funeral Homes was able to expand their operations and purchase two of their largest competitors, allowing them to serve clients across the Philadelphia area. He directly oversees the majority of daily operations, including licensure and regulatory compliance, meeting with families, arranging funeral services and transportation for decedents. Mr. Rachubinski holds a Bachelor of Arts in funeral services from the McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York.
Mr. Rachubinski is a treasured member of the local Polish American community, and was recognized as the Second Street Polish Society's 2017 Man of the Year. He is also a past president of the area school board, a volunteer cook at St. Stanislaus Church and a congregant at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He attributes his success to the guidance of his father, and hopes to foster that same closeness and respect with his own children. Though proud of his accomplishments as a business owner, Mr. Rachubinski considers his wife and children to be his greatest joy.
