Stephen B. Siegel Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Siegel is a highly accomplished commercial real estate broker who has served in the capacity of Chairman, Global Brokerage at CBRE, Inc., a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Dallas, since 2003. CBRE is the largest commercial real estate services and investment services company in the world. Among his daily duties, Mr. Siegel is responsible for representing large corporations and property owners in their strategic planning, relocation efforts and lease renewals, as well as sales and other duties. He also commits his time to mentoring and participating in various trainings and motivational speeches.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Siegel has arranged multimillion-dollar transactions for some of the nation's most prominent corporate clients. Most recently, he represented Hudson's Bay Company, the parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue, in the consolidation and relocation of its 410,000 square feet U.S. headquarters to Brookfield Place. It was a transaction that included space at 225 Liberty and 250 Vesey Streets, as well as an 85,000 square-foot Saks Fifth Avenue anchoring Brookfield Place.

In other recent high-profile deals Mr Siegel represented L'Oreal on its 407,000 square-foot headquarter relocation to Related Company's 10 Hudson Yards, as well as Estee Lauder's headquarters relocation of approximately 350,000 square feet at the General Motors building and 110 East 59th Street. He also represented Apollo Global Management's approximately 300,000 square feet headquarters at 9 W 57th Street and 3 Bryant Park. He negotiated the lease for the Gucci Group at Trump Tower in Manhattan. Another significant transaction of his was when he advised Hudson Waterfront Associates on the procurement of a $1.25 billion acquisition of 1290 Avenue of the Americas in New York City that he sold one year later to Vornado Realty Trust.

In 2003, Mr Siegel formed a partnership with Jeff and Andrew Goldberg to purchase apartments in NYC. This company known as Fairstead has purchased thousands of units to date.

Mr. Siegel initially rose to prominence in the industry at Cushman & Wakefield, where he became President and CEO at age 37. Hired as a real estate broker in 1961 at the age of 17, Mr. Siegel swiftly came to serve as the manager of Cushman's office in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, between 1970 and 1980 before being named as the president, chief executive officer, chief operating officer and northeast regional director in 1980. Additionally, he was named as chairman of the board from 1984 to 1988.

Mr. Siegel was Chairman and CEO of Insignia/ESG prior to the merger with CBRE in 2003. He was largely responsible for masterminding the expansion of the firm nationwide as well as throughout Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Thailand and Latin America. In that role, he also managed a group that completed approximately $2 billion in co-investments in a wide range of U.S. office, residential, hotel and retail real estate portfolios.

As an active member of his community, Mr. Siegel sits on numerous nonprofit boards. Most important to him, he is chairman of the board of Gift of Life, which is responsible for finding matches for individuals with blood cancers. He has participated in fundraising with his wife Wendy Siegel, who is a leukemia survivor and transplant recipient from Gift of Life, where they are both extremely engaged in funding for Leukemia research. Mr. Siegel was also named as co-chairperson of National Jewish Health's Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine's national trustees.

Furthermore, he is an active member on the board of directors of the Lower East Side Tenement Museum.

In addition to these non-paid positions, Mr. Siegel was responsible for the establishment of the Stephen and Wendy Siegel Rabin Fellow at the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center (AFRMC) in 2008, which is Israel's largest medical facility. As the president of the board of the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center, he was honored by the naming of the Wendy and Stephen Siegel Acute Myeloid Leukemia Outpatient Clinic at Israel's Rabin Medical Center, as well as the Stephen Siegel Sports Cardiology Clinic at Israel's Rabin Medical Center. Mr. Siegel is also an advisory board member for both the Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute at Baruch College and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and as a board member of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He also formed the Charles and Ann Siegel Scholarship Fund at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York.

Mr. Siegel has received Honorary Doctorates from Einstein College, Baruch College, Monmouth University and St. Thomas Aquinas College. Affiliated with several prominent professional organizations in support of his career, he remains active as a member of the Industrial Real Estate Brokers Association and the Real Estate Board of New York.

Mr. Siegel's incredible success landed him on the cover of the Commercial Observer in 2020, with a feature entitled 'Even Stephen.' He was also featured in the 2020 edition of Leaders Magazine. In 2017 The Real Deal organized a "Toast/Roast" event in New York, where he was honored by many of his friends and peers. Among countless other accolades, he received recognition with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017 from CBRE where CBRE's Global President of Advisory and Transaction Services described him as being "one of the greatest deal makers, recruiters, developers of top talent and leaders in the history or our business."

Recognized several times by the Real Estate Board of New York, he was bestowed with the Most Creative Retail Deal of the Year Award, the Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award, and the Edward S. Gordon Memorial Award. Additionally, Mr. Siegel was named as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Business Leaders in New York City by Crain's New York.
