    MIDDLETOWN, RI, March 18, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Rosemary F. Carroll with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Carroll celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. Accruing 50 years of professional experience, Dr. Carroll currently holds the title of the Henry and Margaret Haegg distinguished professor of history emerita at Coe College, for which she has held a number of positions since 1971. During her decades-spanning tenure with the aforementioned academic institute, she has found great success as an assistant professor of history, an associate professor, a full professor, the Henry and Margaret Haegg distinguished professor, the chair of the department of history and an affirmative action officer. Since 1988, she has excelled as a pre-law advisor and a faculty representative for the Truman Foundation, the Rhodes Scholarship Trust, and the British Marshal Scholarship. Prior to her employment at Coe College, Dr. Carroll worked at Denison University as a visiting assistant professor from 1970 to 1971 and as an assistant professor of history at Notre Dame College from 1969 to 1970.

Prior to these appointments, Dr. Carroll pursued her education at Brown University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1957. She subsequently received a Master of Arts from Wesleyan University in 1962. She continued her studies at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, from which she graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in 1968. Dr. Carroll concluded her academic efforts at the University of Iowa, obtaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1983.

A contributor of articles to professional journals, Dr. Carroll was recognized by the Hoover Presidential Library Association as a fellow from 1987 to 1992 and with a grant from 1992 to 1994. She has been additionally presented with a grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities. She is a member of the American Bar Association, and the Iowa Bar Association.
