After working as a bookstore owner for more than a decade, Ms. Mickelson began working with a friend in order to help her out. During this time, she found a book on reflexology and became intrigued by the subject. Inspired to pursue a career in the field, Ms. Mickelson took a reflexology class during the early-1980s and eventually opened her own practice, Bonnie's Reflexology Acupressure Massage, through which she offers a wide range of holistic services, including reflexology, body type counseling, lymphatic massage and more.

In light of her professional expertise, Ms. Mickelson wrote a number of manuals for her courses. Outside of her work, she contributes to those less fortunate as a volunteer with her church and at various local high schools. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, she is especially proud to have maintained her business and taught others about reflexology and acupressure massage. Looking toward the future, Ms. Mickelson intends to continue working in the field of body reflexology.
