An accomplished listee, Mr. Holm celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Mr. Holm is a petroleum engineering specialist who has earned distinction on behalf of the New Mexico State Land Office in Santa Fe, New Mexico, since 2012. Managing millions of acres across 32 of the state's counties, the Office serves to utilize state trust land to secure money for various public institutions such as schools, colleges and hospitals. Working in the oil, gas, and mineral division, Mr. Holm is notably responsible for the oversight of reservoir drainage and lease, as well as unit plan development and other tasks.

Boasting extensive expertise in the field that spans more than 50 years, Mr. Holm specializes in water floods, drilling, production, reservoir and bank lending throughout the western and central portions of the country and is especially knowledgeable in environmental and groundwater work. He is the former owner and principal engineer of ABEngineering Inc., where he provided his services as an engineering and geological consultant and served as an expert witness on behalf of various projects. As an extension of his career, Mr. Holm taught at Santa Fe Community College as a field geology and historical geology laboratory instructor during the 2013 academic school year. Likewise, he has continued to work as a guest lecturer at various universities and colleges since 1983.

Employed by several organizations throughout his impressive career, including HNG Oil Company in Midland, Texas, and Northwest Exploration Company in Denver, Mr. Holm is particularly proud of the time he spent at El Paso Natural Gas Company as a drilling and reservoir engineer from 1971 until 1978, during which time he benefited greatly from the tutelage of his manager, Carl Matthews. He also had the good fortune to work with Terry Clay at First National Bank of Midland, Texas, as a petroleum engineer between 1978 and 1980.

Well regarded as an industry resource, Mr. Holm has contributed several professional articles to the field and has presented before various organizations more than a dozen times. He has also participated in a multitude of seminars and training courses in his field. To remain connected with his community, Mr. Holm is or has been a member of the Northwest YMCA, the Arvada Soccer Association and, among other organizations, the National Rifle Association.

Mr. Holm was born in Arizona. Studying locally, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in geological engineering at the University of Arizona in 1967 and later completed postgraduate coursework at the University of Texas at El Paso between 1976 and 1980. Eminently qualified in his field, Mr. Holm is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. Affiliated with several industry related organizations to support his professional endeavors, he is presently active with the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists, among others.

Mr. Holm received a 50 Year Award from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and a 55 Year Award from the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He was also decorated with a Bronze Star for his service as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vietnam between 1968 and 1969. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Holm has been cited in the 20th and 21st editions of Who's Who in the West.
