Upon graduating, he completed an internal medicine internship at Washington University and completed a radiology residency and fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, affiliated with Washington University School of Medicine. Supported by his considerable academic excellence, he excels today as a doctor with Northland Radiology, where he consults with patients, interprets medical images, performs image-guided procedures, and remains up to date regarding the latest research in the field.
An expert in his field, Dr. Northrup affiliates himself with the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Missouri State Medical Association and the Missouri Radiological Society. Outside of his work, he contributes as a volunteer with the Telerad Foundation. In light of his professional accomplishments, he received a Student Research Award and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in medical school, and was honored to have several of his scientific papers published. Looking toward the future, Dr. Northrup intends to become further involved in research and teaching.
