Denyse Baboolal has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Ms. Baboolal works to strengthen the cultural development of Indo-Caribbean communities



    FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, March 23, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Denyse Baboolal has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Baboolal notably founded Jayadevi Arts Inc. (JAI) in 2008, which she later developed into a non-profit organization in 2010. She currently serves JAI as the Executive and Artistic Director, working to preserve Indo-Caribbean arts and culture in the South Florida area. Through the aforementioned organization, Ms. Baboolal is able to reach immigrant communities from such Caribbean countries as Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica and Suriname.

JayaDevi Arts Inc. notably promotes original and artistic creativity by uniting traditional arts with non-traditional styles, specifically among younger generations born in the United States. They offer year-round workshops with tradition-bearers, master artists, scholars and young students. Ms. Baboolal's goal with JAI is to strengthen community infrastructure, provide support and create the environment necessary for youth development.

Ms. Baboolal completed her certification at the American Broadcasting School, studying multimedia journalism. She is certified to host radio, television, events, and for voice over work. In her career, Ms. Baboolal also flourished as the Director of Operations, dancers and choreographer of the Rajkumari Center for Indo Caribbean Arts and Culture in New York, and the founder and producer of the United Phagwah/Holi Celebration Festival of Colors and Diversity in South Florida at present. As a Governor of the National Association of Nonprofit Organization and Executives (NANOE) Ms Baboolal is a certified nonprofit consultant, serves as a grant panelist to Florida state Cultural Affairs, and a grant writer. Ms. Baboolal is also active as a choreographer, dance instructor, and a cultural activist. For her efforts in her career and community, Ms. Baboolal was honored as a Top 25 Pioneering Prominent Indo-Caribbean Woman in New York, and received many recognition awards.
