Joan Noëldechen Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Noëldechen has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in creative writing

WINTER HAVEN, FL, March 25, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Joan Noëldechen with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Noëldechen celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Noëldechen is a writer, poet and actor celebrating her lifelong calling to language and creative expression. Initially torn between the competing impulses to perform and write, she resolved to pursue the latter while attending her third grade English class, during which time a teacher shared "Stopping By the Woods On a Snowy Evening," a Robert Frost poem, with her. In addition, Ms. Noëldechen drew inspiration from the works of Anne Frank and Thomas Wolfe, as well as her father exposing her to classic American songwriters like Cole Porter and Irving Berlin.

Between 1979 and 1985, Ms. Noëldechen appeared in more than 25 regionally produced plays, leading to an apprenticeship at the Flat Rock Playhouse in 1985. That same year, she graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor of Arts in drama and English, after winning several awards from the International Thespian Society in Neptune Beach, Florida, and earning recognition as Fletcher High School's 1981 Best Actress. A prolific scribe, Ms. Noëldechen has published a broad range of essays, articles, poems, screenplays, novels and novellas since 1976, but she considers having her work included in a 1997 HarperCollins anthology by her friend and publicist, June Cotner, to have been a career highlight and a catalyst for becoming the writer she is today.

Following this accomplishment, Ms. Noëldechen has contributed to numerous anthologies, including further projects by June Cotner. Likewise, she has co-written several screenplays with Silvi M. Richardson, and produced dozens of works of fiction, poetry and essays. Her work was featured on Personaland, a web project of collaborative fiction, from 2018 to 2021, and several volumes, including her most recent works of "Drifting Off Haywood" and "Alpine Poems: A Collection of Hudson Valley Poetry," are available in print from Amazon. An avid civic advocate, Ms. Noëldechen is a member of the Academy of American Poets, a sponsor of Flagler College and has participated in numerous Atlanta-area conferences.
