As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A senior capture and proposal manager with more than three and a half decades of expertise and $15 billion in wins, Mr. Hodges began in the field as a manager with Planning Research Corporation. After three years, he joined Business & Technology Consulting, where he served as principal and managing partner for nearly 15 years. Over the course of his career, he has gained valuable expertise in the field with Computer Science Corporation, GTSI, Keane, MicroTech and Winning Proposals, Inc. during which time he has consulted with all three branches of the U.S. Military, as well as the Department of Defense, the FBI, the Department of Transportation, the U.S. Census, the U.S. Postal Service and the Executive Office of the President.

Drawing upon his considerable expertise, Mr. Hodges excels today as a technology expert, manager, director, and business and technology consultant. His proposals cover complex technologies in complex solutions such as the NOAA GOES geostationary satellite program win, the FAA's Air Traffic Control "Mode S Beacon Replacement System" and a number of Social Security Administration proposals. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of his work at Radio Liberty and doing a job for a company that was bidding for NOAH; they wrote a proposal for installing terrestrial processing platforms for the GOES stationary weather satellites. Another proposal, the largest he ever completed, was for FedEx to the USPS to operate the national air cargo system, which was a $10 billion deal.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Hodges earned a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Virginia. From there, he completed a Master of Education in psychology from his alma mater and a Master of Business Administration, with a specialization in finance, from American University.

To remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Hodges aligns himself with the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. For his professional achievements, he was named an Outstanding Scholar and Athlete through the University of Virginia, leading the Atlantic Coast Conference in passing; and received a Prestigious Six Sigma Black Belt in 2000. In the coming years, Mr. Hodges intends to experience the continued success of his career.
