She is also certified as a pesticide and fertilizer applicator and a horticulturalist. In her current position, Ms. Bush manages about 70 properties as well as three maintenance crews.
In addition to her primary professional appointments, Ms. Bush previously worked as a teacher's assistant in floral design at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She also served as the president of the aforementioned university's horticulture club as well as the secretary of Fauquier FFA Alumni and Pi Alpha Xi. In order to remain aware of developments in her field, Ms. Bush maintains her professional affiliation with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
For her exceptional efforts in her career, Ms. Bush has been presented with several accolades, including the Gold Award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals, the Ruppert Landscape Branch Impact Award and the Ruppert Landscape Monthly & Yearly Top Enhancement Sales Award for two consecutive years. Moreover, Ruppert Landscape Inc. also received notable recognition from the Landscape Contractors Association and the National Association of Landscape Professionals. In 2020, she was honored for the top sales for four months and accruing $1.8 million worth of sales. Most recently, Ms. Bush was featured in Landscape Magazine in an article titled "The Big One – A Corporate Retreat."
Throughout her career, Ms. Bush has attributed her professional success to her hard work and consistency. She has also benefited from a supportive team who also work hard to provide optimal services. Looking toward the future, Ms. Bush plans to continue working with Ruppert Landscape Inc. as it grows while eventually transitioning to a new branch location and eventually accept a position as a branch manager.
