A seasoned program manager with a proven record of accomplishment on an international scale, Ms. Chu earned a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry during the early years of her career. Following this accomplishment, she received a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in industrial engineering from Arizona State University. Supported by her considerable knowledge, Ms. Chu began as an industrial engineer and held various positions such as strategic global warehouse process improvement manager. She also held a position as a lean enterprise process improvement manager.

Presently, Ms. Chu excels as a senior lean manager with a major global company. In this role, she designs and deploys lean supply chain initiatives to suppliers, drives cycle time and lead time reduction, oversees capacity improvements, and educates internal teams and suppliers on lean philosophy, method and tool applications. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, Ms. Chu is most proud to have trained and certified her colleagues and suppliers at a major global company in lean management.

In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Chu affiliates herself with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the American Society for Quality, the Project Management Institute, Sigma Iota Epsilon, the Alpha Pi Mu and Beta Gamma Sigma. Alongside her work in the field, she volunteers as a teacher at local elementary schools during her spare time. In light of her outstanding body of work, she received the Thompson Graduate Research Award through the Institute of Industrial Engineering in 1996. In 2007 she received a Global Company Leadership Award through a women's network. Looking toward the future, Ms. Chu intends to continue on the same path and helping improve the industry and educate others in her field.
