STATE COLLEGE, PA, May 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matthew Rutschky has been included in Marquis Who's Who. A distinguished Military Veteran with professional military experience, Mr. Rutschky retired from the United States Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer after 26 years of duty. Over the years he gained valuable expertise with the U.S. Navy as a camera repairman, photographic film and paper processor repairman and aerial photographer. He served onboard the carriers USS Eisenhower CVN-69 and the USS Constellation CV-64. At the peak of his career in the carrier field, he supervised over 60 personnel of various ratings in the Operations Department.
At the midpoint of his career, Mr. Rutschky undertook the profession of a submarine photographic equipment repairman. He supervised the technicians for the photographic and video imaging systems on both the Atlantic and Pacific fleet submarines. He was directly instrumental in the conversion of the worldwide Navy fleet analog photographic services to state-of-the-art digital photographic equipment.
While in the military, Mr. Rutschky obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and an Associate's degree in Photonics Engineering both from the Three Rivers Community College in Connecticut. While working on his two degrees, Mr. Rutschky was recognized for his professionalism and was inducted into the Greek society Gamma Phi. After retirement Mr. Rutschky attended The Pennsylvania State University in the Bachelor's Degree field of Information Sciences and Technology. He is presently a member of the Pennsylvania State Alumni Association.
