Originally intent on earning a college degree, Mr. Craig quickly found that he learned better through direct action. Upon completing military service with the U.S. Navy during the early-1990s, he gained valuable expertise in commercial and residential construction. In 2006, he began as a supervisor and then on to regional maintenance director for Bell Partners Inc., where he remained for six years before becoming a maintenance supervisor for Hawthorne Residential Partners. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Craig also served as a project manager for Service Pros of the Carolinas and THS National.
Drawing on his considerable expertise, Mr. Craig excels as a new construction flooring project manager for Got You Floored Inc., which offers hardwood flooring, carpeting, tile and more. He and his team conduct regular and daily site visits for each project, ensures that crews are properly assigned and liaises with the operations coordinator to guarantee that schedules are up to date. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, Mr. Craig is most proud to have been married to the love of his life for more than 20 years. Other valuable achievements are being part of the team at Got You Floored Inc and winning the Interior Vendor Partner of the Year Award through the local apartment association on several occasions and all while fostered strong relationships with others in the Multifamily industry.
An expert in his field, Mr. Craig believes team collaboration and cohesion is the greatest path to success. Outside of his work, he contributes to those less fortunate through volunteer work with local food banks. During his membership of a Vistage Key Group, a group of vice presidents and other titled positions who report to owners, presidents and chief executive officers, he has taken the guidance learned in this group and applied the leadership needed to succeed both professionally and personally. Additionally, he served on two committees with the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association, where he has been a member since 2000. For his professional excellence, he has won several awards through the U.S. Navy, as well as a nominated for Supervisor of the Year Award. In the near future, Mr. Craig intends to serve as part owner of Got You Floored Inc.
