Armando Madeira Celebrated for Dedication to the Music Industry

Mr. Madeira channels years of expertise into his work with TD Garden

WEYMOUTH, MA, May 07, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Armando Madeira has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

As one of 14 siblings born on Brava, Cape Verde Island, Mr. Madeira was inspired by music from the time he was a child. At just 13 years old, he bought his first acoustic guitar and began to play. As he grew older, he also learned to play the drums. He has traveled as the manager with his musician friends throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Florida and Cape Verde Island since 2008. On the visit to Cape Verde, he serenaded the Prime Minister during the inaugural trip of the fast ferry "Kriola."

Through a series of fortunate events, Mr. Madeira became the supervisor of the building operations department with TD Garden in Boston, where he remains today. For nearly three and a half decades, he has been involved in the physical transformation of the arena for all major events, including Boston Celtics games, Boston Bruins games, concerts and other entertainment events.

Driven by the belief that music is the sanctuary for the soul, Mr. Madeira is the executive producer for "Homenagem Ao Pai Mestre Josezinho" and the music videos "Tem Dia Na Bida" and "Triste Gonia." He just produced and released another CD for Quirino Do Canto Tributo a Talaia. Additionally, he produced two CD's with Benvindo Cruz, "Kilimanjaro," and "Amor Transatlatico" and eight subsequent music videos that stemmed from the albums. Outside of his work, Mr. Madeira serves as a member of the Boston Local Union 33 Brotherhood of Carpenters, and as the president and director of the Ideal Social Club, through which many Cape Verdean artists and musicians have performed.

Mr. Madeira is an executive producer for the artist Benvindo Cruz who was nominated for the best song of the year at the CVMA (Cape Verdean Music Awards) in 2014. He was also bestowed with a Community Service Award through a Red Carpet Event in 2019 in Brockton MA. He received 5 scholarships to his vocational technical high school due to his stellar grades, and a Citizenship Award while a senior at the school. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, he is most proud of his children and family. Looking toward the future, Mr. Madeira plans to build his own music studio, purchase a club, continue producing CDs and organize more events. Ultimately, he intends to retire and spend more time with his children and grandchildren.
