After moving to Wilmington, North Carolina, and working in ministry with her ex-husband, Ms. Williams established her own business, Rhonda's Precious GEMS, where she remains active as its proprietor. In her position as the owner, she currently supervises 17 children and operates 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Through Rhonda's Precious GEMS, Ms. Williams provides exemplary service in a safe and healthy environment that allows her children to grow cognitively, emotionally, socially and creatively.

Prior to establishing her daycare, Ms. Williams gained valuable professional expertise as an airline supervisor between 2005 and 2014. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, she is most proud to have been in charge of her daycare and to have changed the lives of many children for the better. In accounting for her standout success, Ms. Williams credits her deep and abiding Christian faith.

Before embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Williams received an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education through Cape Fear Community College in 2005 and holds certification as a North Carolina early educator, as well as in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation. Outside of her work in daycare service, she contributes to her community as a member of HOPE, or House of Prayer Eternally. Looking toward the future, Ms. Williams intends to establish two more daycare centers and travel further afield.
