A seasoned statistics and economic consultant with more than 30 years of practiced expertise in the field, Mr. Boedeker excels as a manager director and owner of Berkeley Research Group, which provides consulting and expert services in complex litigation cases that require economic, financial and statistical expertise. In his dual roles, he leads large teams of consultants in his day-to-day case work. Prior to his current role, Mr. Boedeker worked as a partner with Resolution Economics, the managing director of Alvarez & Marsal, an expert with LECG and the managing director of Navigant Consulting.
Mr. Boedeker previously gained valuable expertise as a partner with a number of known companies in the industry, including Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen. Over the years, he also served as a teaching and research assistant in the departments of economics and statistics at TU Dortmund University Business School as well as in the Tank Combat Unit of the German Army. Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Boedeker further flourished as a volunteer coach and referee with AYSO.
In pursuit of his career, Mr. Boedeker earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in business administration and statistics from TU Dortmund University, where he also obtained a Master of Science in statistics. Subsequently, he garnered a Master of Arts and an ABA in economics from the University of California San Diego. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, he has been affiliated with the American Statistical Association, the American Economic Association, the American Association of Public Opinion Research, the Mathematical Association of America and the Econometric Society.
