UNION, NJ, May 21, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alex Neves has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After arriving in the United States in 1974, Mr. Neves began a career in manufacturing.
For four decades, he excelled as a technical engineer and owner with Alne Sewing Machines Inc., where he oversaw sewing machine manufacturing and garment production. Throughout the course of his career, he also established a school to teach sewing skills to immigrants. Although that business is now closed, Alne Sewing Machines Showroom remains open, where Mr. Neves continues to provide his expertise even in retirement.
Over the span of his professional journey, Mr. Neves served in several fields, including as the owner of a car dealership specializing in used cars, a restaurant owner, the owner of "Radio Portugal USA" and owner of U.S.A. Driving School. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, he is most proud to have helped undocumented immigrants obtain the necessary documentation for citizenship. Being able to help others is his greatest achievement.
For his outstanding work in the field, Mr. Neves has been recognized on numerous occasions. To wit, he has received accolades from former Vice President Dick Cheney and former President George W. Bush, as well as the Business Man of the Year Award and several gold medals from the Republican Party. Within the next five years, Mr. Neves intends to enjoy his retirement and continue overseeing the Alne Sewing Machines Showroom.
