SANTEE, CA, May 25, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Randy L. Locke with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Locke celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After serving with the United States Air Force between 1962 and 1966, Mr. Locke earned distinction as a weather observer at a military outpost, where he also worked as the site barber. Due to his love of reading and his station on the coast of Siberia, he began researching the Soviet Union and United States and found professors at Stanford University whose writing he enjoyed. Upon leaving the military, Mr. Locke applied to Stanford and eventually received a Bachelor of Arts in political science in the early-1970s.
With his undergraduate degree in hand, Mr. Locke began as a marketing manager for Kampgrounds of America Inc., where he worked for two years. Following this period, he gained valuable expertise in the field as a wholesaler with Crestwood Lumber Inc. and as the president of Earthsong Homes Inc. Over the years, Mr. Locke also worked as a managing associate of H.E.B. Properties, and an analyst for both George S. May Consultancy and International Profit Associates, from which he retired in 2009.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Locke aligned himself with Stanford-Palo Alto Users Group. Alongside his work, he also contributed to his community as the president of Pacificans for Individual and Economic Rights during the early-1980s. Due to his vast knowledge, he authored numerous works, including the "Resident Manager's Handbook." For his outstanding achievements, he was honored in two editions of Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in the World. Despite his numerous professional accomplishments, he is most proud to have become a grandfather and to have designed and built a beautiful oceanfront home. Looking toward the future, Mr. Locke intends to enjoy his retirement.
