Mr. Lomax has long held a passion for audio and has always wanted to help protect others from the effects of overexposure to sounds that may cause hearing loss. As a hearing conservationist, he researches the effects of noise on workers by conducting hearing tests and noise surveys. Furthermore, he is proud to have founded a workplace solutions business, focusing on hearing conservation. Audiosha™ is the first fully African American-owned nationwide, mobile occupational audiometric testing company, in the United States.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lomax has obtained memberships with the Dallas-Fort Worth and National Minority Supplier Development Councils, the Audio Engineering Society, the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation, and the Society for Nonprofits. In his community, he is involved with both the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Lomax is certified as an audio tracking engineer, a music and media producer, an occupational health and safety instructor, an occupational hearing conservationist and a noise measurement and control specialist. Furthermore, he is civically engaged as an independent, Christian minister. Looking toward the future, he aims to provide mentorship to individuals who seek to follow his example.
