Pamela Mankoff Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Technical Writing

HERNDON, VA, June 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pamela Mankoff has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Before discovering her passion for the practical aspects of technical writing, Ms. Mankoff served as an instructor in her chosen field. In 2003, she accepted a role with Ciber before becoming a subject matter expert for Unysis. Throughout the course of her subsequent career, Ms. Mankoff gained valuable expertise in the field as a trainer and instructional designer for LGB & Associates, where she served from 2007 until 2012, and as a senior instructional designer for TEKSystems.

Prior to obtaining her current role, Ms. Mankoff worked as a project lead and technical adviser for Xenia Systems. Presently, she excels as an instructional designer, technical writer and program manager for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In her numerous roles, Ms. Mankoff oversees mandatory training completion, edits the monthly newsletter for the department, supervises employees and participates in working groups for both FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security.

An expert in her field, Ms. Mankoff holds a bachelor's degree in medical technology and business administration from Wayland Baptist University. Alongside her work in the field, she contributes to those less fortunate through Wounded Warriors, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Even though her career has been suffused with highlights, she is most proud to have been nominated for a Lifetime Achievement Award through Marquis Who's Who. Personally, she is also gratified to have served as a military veteran and to have raised a wonderful family. In the coming years, Ms. Mankoff intends to prepare for semi-retirement and work for the FEMA reservists.
