John Powers Kelk Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Trust Fund Management

Mr. Kelk oversees trust funds and family estates through Kelk Family Properties



    LAKE TOMAHAWK, WI, June 07, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Powers Kelk has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. After studying engineering at the University of South Florida during the 1980s, Mr. Kelk gravitated toward mathematics and received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and computer science from Northland College while working as a structural steel detailer for the Steel Connection. Upon graduating in 1992, he joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a programmer and Visual Basic software developer. Following this period, Mr. Kelk gained valuable expertise in a similar position with SAIC in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and pursued additional coursework in computer software engineering at East Tennessee State University.

Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Kelk built upon his existing skill set as a personal computer network technician for BFM Computers, the manager of Lake Tomahawk Mobile Home Park, an eBay store manager for Bennett Power Equipment in Jacksonville, FL, an aircraft fuel lineman for Rhinelander Flying Service Inc. and a truck driver for Lake Tomahawk Disposal. Drawing on his extensive professional knowledge, he excels today as the chief executive officer of Kelk Family Properties, through which he manages trust funds and family estates from his brokerage accounts.

Mr. Kelk has remained dedicated to furthering his education, completing aviation coursework at Florida State College, and earning a certification as an instrument commercial pilot through the Federal Aviation Administration. In conjunction with his work in the field, he contributes as a musician with the Wounded Warrior Project and the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. Previously, he also served as a member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, he is most proud to have received his Microsoft Certified System Administrator certificate and pilot's license. In the near future, Mr. Kelk intends to pursue additional musical gigs and secure a part-time job conducting aerial photography.
