Trey Monsour Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Law

    HOUSTON, TX, June 09, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Trey Monsour has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Since his youth, Mr. Monsour was inspired to become a lawyer. Upon earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in 1989. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Monsour gained valuable expertise by interning for a bankruptcy judge in Houston, Texas. He then joined a prominent New York firm in their insolvency and restructuring practice, which included representing both debtors and creditor constituencies in commercial bankruptcy cases. After 30 years of experience, Mr. Monsour currently serves as a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP in their Dallas office, and splitting his time between the Houston and Dallas markets.
Mr. Monsour advises a range of clients in a number of industries in complex workouts and chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Monsour has been a member of the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association for International Arbitration. He has been admitted to practice law in Texas and is a member of the Fifth Circuit Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association. Mr. Monsour has been inducted into the Texas Bar College, the Texas Bar Foundation and the Houston Bar Foundation. Alongside his legal work, Mr. Monsour contributes to his community and those less fortunate, and currently serves on the board of trustees for City House Plano, which is dedicated to providing shelter for homeless teens in North Texas. He also served on the board of trustees for the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center and served on a prominent committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo foundation.

Mr. Monsour authored and wrote for LexisNexis its "Module on Bankruptcy Law" and "Module on Lender Liability Law". In addition to being recognized with an AV-Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, he has been honored among the 2021 Best Lawyers in America for his work in bankruptcy, creditor/debtor rights and insolvency and reorganization law and bankruptcy litigation. He has been honored among the 2021 Super Lawyers in Texas in his field of bankruptcy law.
