During the course of her subsequent academic efforts, she received a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master of Arts in occupational home economics from Colorado State University at Fort Collins. Following this accomplishment, Ms. Gaumer began her career as a public school teacher of home economics.
Outside of her primary career pursuits, Ms. Gaumer worked for two vocational schools in occupational food service. Briefly, she also worked as a host for Airbnb. Likewise, Ms. Gaumer is a real estate investor with Predicamend Real Estate. She is also active with various civic endeavors, including the Denver Classroom Teachers Association, Aurora Public School Teachers Association, her local vacation Bible school, and Awanas.
Throughout the course of her professional journey, Ms. Gaumer has been most proud to see her students go on to achieve success in their own career pursuits. For her efforts as an educator, she was previously recognized as the Teacher of the Month by the superintendent of schools. In accounting for her standout success, Ms. Gaumer credits her strident adherence to her Christian faith.
