While battling hardships and overcoming numerous obstacles in her life, Ms. Rozier found comfort and happiness in her gift for cooking, which drove the trajectory of her career. In her earlier years of taking vocational classes, she gained valuable knowledge with Food Network Stars. The numerous restaurants she has worked for throughout Miami, especially Wynwood, where she became wok certified and a certified pitmaster. Backed by her professional expertise, Ms. Rozier excelled as an assistant manager and rockstar at a Waffle House, roles she obtained in 2020 until she left the company in 2021. Driven to further her education as a chef, Ms. Rozier is currently in the process of earning a business degree in the Culinary Arts. With moving forward in her field of study, Ms. Rozier's employer Kiawah Island Golf Resort, will help support her dream of being one of the top chefs in the world.
Outside of her work, Ms. Rozier gives back to her community by feeding the homeless on her own and the Florida Branch of HOPE (Helping Other People Eat), where she serves as a board member and chef. For her charitable achievements, she was honored by HOPE in 2018. Ms. Rozier is also a proud member of a group called Girls With Scars. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is most proud of achieving her past role at Waffle House in less than one year. For most individuals, it takes between two and five years to complete what she has achieved. Looking ahead, Ms. Rozier intends to help establish additional branches of HOPE, starting her own non-profit to help the disenfranchised. With the gift God has given Ms. Rozier will utilize them by opening up a food truck business with a brick-and-mortar restaurant soon to follow to show not only her children but the world that no matter what life throws at her, it's possible to accomplish all your dreams.
