Prior to embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Zaidi pursued a formal education, completing coursework in automotive engineering and industrial engineering at the Henry Ford College & University of Michigan-Dearborn between 1978 and 1981. He would further refine his skills in industrial management and problem solving through the American Management Association yearly sessions at Harvard Business School. Mr. Zaidi began his career with the tractor division of Fiat in Italy, a role that he held for three years before returning to the United States.
Soon thereafter, Mr. Zaidi served in the automotive division of Handy & Harman for 12 years, during which time he helped provide heat transfer systems and components, including condensers and radiators, to major automobile manufacturers and for aftermarket sales. Mr. Zaidi was hired by Behr, an automotive HVAC and Heat Transfer Systems and parts company headquartered out of Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. Zaidi facilitated technology transfer from Germany to United States. Appointed as the vice president and general manager for Behr between 1990 and 1998. Mr. Zaidi also served as a board member.
During his tenure with US and German company he was exposed to enterprise resource planning software that lacked the function for employees to communicate with their managers, which planted the seed for his future invention -- BullseyeEngagement. Following his tenure at Behr, Mr. Zaidi flourished as the president of the Turn Around Management Group between 2004 and 2009.
Beyond his primary responsibilities in the field, Mr. Zaidi has participated in myriad endeavors within his professional circles. For more than a decade, he was formerly active as a senior member and speaker with the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Sindhi and Punjabi, Mr. Zaidi is a distinguished author as well, having authored such books as "Chalte Chalte," "Kahan Aagaye Hum," "Azan-e-Majlis" and "Qarze Jaa'n."
As a testament to his stellar undertakings, Mr. Zaidi has been honored with several accolades throughout his career.
