Adell D. Whitehead has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Ms. Whitehead celebrates professional excellence in the field of management



She shifted her focus from the corporate world to the nonprofit sector because she realized that her calling is in service to others in need.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, WA, July 16, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adell D. Whitehead has been included in Marquis Who's Who. A leader in her community, Ms. Whitehead has served as the Family Support Services Manager of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Outreach Center since 2018. She previously found success as a Technical Training Specialist for Evoca, a sustainability and energy management company now known as ENGIE Impact, from 2014 to 2018. Between 1986 and 2014, Ms. Whitehead worked at Pitney Bowes in numerous roles, including as an instructor and Technical Training Designer.

Prior to embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Whitehead pursued an education at Whitworth University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Organization Management in 2017. She later obtained a certificate in Business Administration and Management from Barclay Career School. Beyond her primary endeavors, Ms. Whitehead remains active with the Spokane chapter of the NAACP, the Police Activities Committee for the city of Spokane and the Equity and Advisory Committee for the Avista Corporation.

Furthermore, Ms. Whitehead volunteers as a Livestrong Coach at her local YMCA. Notably, she shifted her focus from the corporate world to the nonprofit sector because she realized that her calling is in service to others in need. Among her numerous achievements throughout her career, Ms. Whitehead was honorably presented with the Continuous Improvement Award from Pitney Bowes in 1996. She was also recognized as a Community Builder by the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene Magazine. Adell enjoys singing with the Spokane Community Gospel Mass Choir. She is also an active member and church secretary at Holy Temple COGIC.
