HARRISBURG, PA, July 16, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bob Zubrickie has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After studying at Harrisburg Area Community College and receiving a technical school diploma, Mr. Zubrickie began working with TE Connectivity in 1979, where he remains today. In 1989, he was introduced to 3D printing in stereolithography and began learning more about the field of manufacturing. Today, Mr. Zubrickie works as a manager of the 3D Printing and Prototyping Center and as a manufacturing engineer with TE Connectivity since 1989 and 1990, respectively. In his roles, he exhibits his diverse background in both machine shop work and additive manufacturing.

Previously in his career, Mr. Zubrickie served as president and chairman of the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) from 2003 to 2010 and as a keynote speaker at the Tech Bridge Innovation Conference in 2016. In 1992, he was additionally certified in the SLA-190/250 Basic Training Course through 3D Systems, Inc., in Valencia, California.

Throughout his career, Mr. Zubrickie has been most proud of the number of individuals whom he has been able to teach and mentor within the industry. He most enjoys seeing others whom he has taught go on to excel in their own careers. Civically involved alongside his industry work, he participated in the United Way Tricycle Race in 2014. He has further excelled as a guest speaker for the Materialize Innovative Forum in Belgium in 2007, has been on various interviews with Insomniac Media, Inc., and ABC News, and was featured on the cover of the Central Penn Business Journal in 2019.

For his efforts in his career, Mr. Zubrickie received the Dinosaur Award in Stereolithography in 2004 and the Presidential Award in 2010, both from AMUG. Furthermore, he received the 1993 Cost Improvement Award and a 2016 Letter of Recognition from the TecBridge Innovation Conference. Over the years, he has attributed his professional success to his innovative mind. In the coming years, Mr. Zubrickie plans to see 3D printing become a mainstream form of manufacturing.
