Tyler Anastasia has been Inducted into the Marquis Who's Who Registry

    CHICAGO, IL, July 19, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tyler J. Anastasia has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Mr. Anastasia has earned a reputation as a creative marketing and brand development professional with more than 40 years of expertise in crafting multimedia marketing and communications strategies and execution for dozens of international corporate clients, including American Express, Beam Suntory, Mobil, Bacardi, McDonald's and Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Anastasia obtained a degree in Educational Media and Television Film Productions from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. He is a former President of the School of Education Alumni Association and was awarded a Distinguished Alumni award for his successes and innovative work in the communications industry.

In 1979, Mr. Anastasia began his career at the Michigan-based headquarters of The Dow Chemical Company as a staff media producer and director, producing internal and external media programs for both corporate and chemical plants operations throughout the world. He quickly advanced to become a communications manager primarily responsible for broadcast media liaison and crisis communications management.

In 1985, Tyler joined Washington D.C. and New York-based DWJ Television, a broadcast video news agency. Mr. Anastasia was next recruited by Motivation Media, a full-service corporate communications provider as a brand marketing and group accounts director, a post in which he developed a pragmatic, inclusive approach to brand messaging holistic events, corporate meetings, multimedia-based training and internal communications as key parts of client corporate business strategy.

When he departed from Motivation Media a decade later to accept the position of a senior vice president of business development and account management with Golin, Mr. Anastasia had already built a reputation as a savvy and efficient communicator with a strong eye for identifying and clarifying clients' core values and messages. He further excelled as the vice president of account management and marketing for ProActive, A Freeman Company, providing corporate communications and large-scale meetings and events for a wide range of global brands.

In 2010, Tyler established the internal global communications practice and served as Vice President and Director, Internal Communications for the 10,000 employees of the legendary advertising agency, Leo Burnett Worldwide (Publicis Groupe). During his tenure with the company, Mr. Anastasia would not only establish, but streamline, Leo Burnett Worldwide's internal communications department, filling a crucial gap in internal employee engagement.

Since 2006, he has maintained an independent consulting practice, merging his years of diverse communications, management and production experience into unique, on-brand multiple-channel communication campaigns, media programs and live event experiences. A diverse set of skills allowed him to operate in executive leadership roles in business development, account management, marketing communications, internal and corporate communications, creative development at creative agencies, production shops and design studios throughout the country.

In recent years, Mr. Anastasia has expanded his business management portfolio to include Medaillon Brands and Andalusian Brands, importers of high-quality small batch champagne, sparkling wine, vinegar, olive oil and other specialty foods. As a partner, co-founder, and executive vice president of both brands, Mr. Anastasia is responsible for brand strategy and marketing of a slate of unique handcrafted imported beverage and food products including BurNarj, the world's only fine sparkling wine made exclusively with fresh Andalusian oranges, an authentic Spanish extra-virgin olive oil, and Vinagre de Naranja, an orange vinegar produced exclusively in Andalusia, Córdoba, Spain.

In addition to his communications practice and entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Anastasia is deeply involved in community charitable initiatives, and supports the Ronald McDonald House, Youth Services of Glenview, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America and the Wood Family Foundation, a Chicago-based youth services nonprofit.

Tyler is a seasoned traveler and an avid hiker, biker, camper, skier, writer and nature photographer. He has spent time in all 50 states, every Canadian province, and 16 countries from Edinburgh to Istanbul, professionally and on personal journeys.
