    LANGHORNE, PA, July 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jeffrey M. Cornelius with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Cornelius celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. For nearly 50 years, Dr. Cornelius has flourished as a music professor at Temple University. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from Kings College in 1965 and a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College in 1970, he earned a Master of Music from Temple University two years later and was subsequently recruited as a music professor at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance. From 1975 until 1992, he found further success as the associate dean of the aforementioned music school. Dr. Cornelius had previously served as a music instructor at Mercer County Community College and La Salle University.

In 1986, Dr. Cornelius completed his education by earning a Doctor of Education from Temple University. From 1993 until 2001, he continued to thrive as the dean of the Boyer College of Music and Dance and was designated as a professor emeritus at the Philadelphia-based institution in 2012. Alongside his responsibilities as a professor and dean, Dr. Cornelius excelled as the conductor of the Temple University Singers from 2002 until 2012.

Throughout the course of his remarkable career, Dr. Cornelius has regularly been invited to share his expertise in vocal arts with various high schools, colleges and community choruses, and his expertise in music administration with colleges and universities nationally. He has additionally performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the American Symphony Orchestra, among others. In 2014, the American Choral Directors Association of Pennsylvania honored Dr. Cornelius with the Elaine Brown Award, in recognition of his lifelong devotion to excellence in choral music.
