Since 2017, Ms. Parki has established herself as the financial support supervisor with the Talladega Department of Human Resources in Alabama. In her role, she supervises three different programs and oversees five employees. She is responsible for reviewing records, managing customer and client complaints, and reviewing daily reports. Moreover, she assures workers have cleared their alert lists and approves summary extensions. Prior to this appointment, she contributed her expertise to the Disability Determination Services of the State of Alabama from 2009 to 2014.
Ms. Parki obtained an Associate of Science from Gadsden State Community College in 2003. She completed her education at the University of Montevallo in 2006, at which time she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. After her college graduation, she began her career as a bank teller. After finding much success with the Disability Determination Services, she sought a position that would further allow her to improve the lives of the community and society at large. She subsequently accepted a role with the Talladega Department of Human Resources, as it matched her background and was close to home.
Ms. Parki is proud to have been promoted to a supervisor within two years at her current job. She attributes her success to her ability to motivate herself no matter the circumstance. Looking toward the future, she aims to obtain her master's degree.
