When he was 15 years old, Mr. Mauldin began working for his uncle in Arizona, who was an electrical contractor. Several of his other uncles were also in the electrical business; therefore, he followed in their footsteps from a young age. Subsequently, Mr. Mauldin established Clayco Electric, Inc., for more than 10 years. His business was previously ranked among the Top 300 in the Nation installing solar.
In his current position, Mr. Mauldin oversees all sales and construction aspects of the business in the States of Arizona and California. He is also a certified PV Installation Professional through the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. He has maintained affiliation with the Better Business Bureau, Solar Energy International, the California Solar and Storage Association, and the Arizona Solar Energy Industry Association. Over the years, he has attributed his professional success to his sister, Jeannie Moody. Looking toward the future, Mr. Mauldin plans to acquire more property and expand his business to New Mexico to reach a larger customer base.
Mr. Mauldin and partner Jeannie Moody just established Mauldin & Moody LLC. They have just closed on their first real estate deal in Florida purchasing 22 homes. Future goals for the team include continuing to expand their solar company, and purchase rental homes in Arizona and assisted living homes in California.
