Driven to pursue a career in health care from a young age, Ms. Darvas became a licensed practical nurse through the St. Joseph School of Practical Nursing in 1969. From there, she gained valuable expertise in the field as a school nurse for two years before becoming a catechism teacher for the following decade. Backed by her professional expertise, she excels today as a licensed practical nurse for Dr. Sandra Massallo Schubert, MD. Though her mother was the one who encouraged her to delve into the field, she has developed a love for the industry over the years and believes it is her calling.

Outside of her work in the field, Ms. Darvas volunteers with her local church and serves as an on-call licensed practical nurse. In a career that has been filled with highlights, she is most proud of treating everyone like family. Within the next five years, Ms. Darvas intends to continue helping others and volunteering with her local church.
