Mr. Soldano served in the United States Marine Corps from 1996, and was retired in September of 2012, having retired early due to the injuries that he sustained during combat. It was during his time with the Marine Corps that he became interested in digital media and its more efficient applications as a method for teaching and instruction. From 2008 to 2014, he flourished in the roles of the chief executive officer and section leader for Wounded Warrior SL, a Virtual Reality project which endeavored to use virtual reality platforms as a means of helping other veterans. In 2014 Mr. Soldano became heavily involved in the Marine Corps League. The League is a Veterans organization that was chartered by Congress and fosters the brotherhood and camaraderie of Marine Corps, and FMF Navy Veterans and Active-Duty personnel. Since 2019, Mr. Soldano has taken on the position of Judge Advocate for the Department of New Jersey Marine Corps League.
In his position as a Judge Advocate, Mr. Soldano's primarily focus is to read and interpret government policies and provide legal counsel on bylaws, policies, corporate regulations, and parliamentary procedures. Chiefly, he is responsible for ensuring that the Department of New Jersey Marine Corps League is operating in compliance within the proper legal framework of three levels of by-laws and policies: detachment, department and national. For his contributions to digital presence and communication efforts of the Northeast Division, Marine Corps League, Mr. Soldano was presented with the Victor T. Fischer Award from the National Northeast Division of the Marine Corps League.
In 2016, Mr. Soldano graduated from Sanford-Brown College with a bachelor's degree in digital media production, summa cum laude. He holds certifications in curriculum development, armor identification, training, and education from the United States Marine Corps. He maintains his memberships with the Marine Corps League, the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Military Order of the Devil Dogs, and the Marine Corps Association. Moreover, Mr. Soldano performs pro-bono work for various veteran's organizations and remains affiliated with the National Honor Society.
